K40 MILLION GRANT TO FAMA :A shot in the arm for Malawi films
The Film Association of Malawi has received MK40 million from the Shepherd Bushiri Foundation, which will be used to build the FAMA office.The Shepherd Bushiri Foundation has entered into an agreement with renowned Nollywood actor Nkem Owoh (Ukwa) to produce high-quality movies.
According to FAMA President Dorothy Kingston, they indeed need to partner with the Shepherd Bushiri Foundation to produce excellent movies.In his speech, Bushiri argued that they aim to promote the film industry, which will facilitate collaborations between international and local filmmakers.
He added that the new FAMA executive has made efforts to promote the film industry in Malawi. In conclusion, on February 21, they will engage in conversations with well-known international actors, actresses, and cameramen to share their expertise with Ma
