Dyson Gonthi launches DyGo foundation to empower Rular artist


Renowned culturist and broadcaster Dyson Gonthi is set to launch the DyGo Foundation, a rural welfare arts organization, on Saturday at Civo Stadium in Lilongwe. This innovative initiative aims to provide a platform for people in rural areas to showcase their talents in music, dance, theatre, and visual arts.

Gonthi, well-known for his roles in radio programmes on MBC Radio 1, is passionate about unearthing talent in rural areas. The DyGo Foundation will be vibrant, holding talent competitions with prizes for winners. At 83 years young, Gonthi's passion for arts and culture remains unwavering. His journey in the arts dates back to 1964 when he staged a play titled "The Coming" as a form three student.
