Malawian Artists Unite for Tay Grin's Benefit Concert

Renowned Malawian artists Lawi, KellyKay, Gwamba, and Lulu have joined forces to organize a benefit concert, "From Ashes," in support of fellow musician Tay Grin, who recently lost his property to a fire.

The concert is scheduled to take place next month at the Bingu International Convention Centre in Lilongwe. According to Lawi, the event aims to provide a starting pack for Tay Grin to rebuild his life.

Lawi expressed his gratitude to his fellow artists for their swift response to the call for support. "When I reached out to my fellow artists, they didn't hesitate, and we agreed to make it happen," Lawi said. The lineup will also feature legendary artist Giddes Chalamanda.

The Bingu International Convention Centre has generously offered the venue free of charge, upon hearing of the concert's purpose.
