The Film Association of Malawi (FAMA) has signed a contract with renowned Nigerian actors Nkiru Slyvanus, Charles Inojie, and Charles Awurum. This partnership, facilitated by Shepherd Bushiri, aims to provide guidance and support to Malawian filmmakers.
According to Charles Inojie, star of the popular series "Keke Lovers," he is eager to contribute to the growth of Malawi's film industry. "I'm ready to help the talent in Malawi," he stated.
Shepherd Bushiri, who sponsored the contract with a MK 40 million donation, expressed his desire to take Malawian films global. "I want to meet with Netflix to discuss uploading Malawian movies, just like they do for other countries," he said.
FAMA President Dorothy Kingston thanked Bushiri for fulfilling his promise.
