THREE MALAWIANS NOMINATED FOR YOUTH ACHIEVERS AFRICA AWARDS

Three Malawian candidates have been shortlisted for the Youth Achievers Africa Awards this year. Onesimus, Emmie Deebo, and journalist Priscilla Kayira will compete in various categories.

Onesimus has been nominated for Best Young Achiever Artist of the Year and Best Music Video of the Year. Emmie Deebo, known for her single "Sheli Banana", will compete for Best Upcoming Artist and Best Rising Star of the Year. Priscilla Kayira, who was recently appointed as Betway's ambassador, is nominated for Best Young Achiever Media Personality and Best Young Achiever of the Year.

According to Laurent Kwakwala, Emmie Deebo's manager, "It's wonderful and joyful for Emmie Deebo to participate in this competition, which will give us strength."

The Youth Achievers Africa Awards, which recognize talent across Africa, will take place in Kigali, Rwanda, in April this year.
