Kabula Diaries Introduces Annual Festival in Blantyre


 Kabula Diaries, a prominent event organizer, has announced the launch of a two-day annual festival at Echo's Park in Blantyre. Scheduled to take place from June 6 to 7, the festival promises a rich blend of music, poetry, fashion, and workshops.

The festival director, Prince Chikweba, highlighted the event's focus on providing a safe and enjoyable environment for attendees. Chikweba emphasized the importance of inspiring emerging artists and offering a platform for local talent to showcase their work.

The festival will feature multiple stages, including a main stage and a second stage near the man-made dam. These stages will host various music performances, catering to diverse musical tastes. In addition to the performances, the festival will offer workshops, poetry sessions, and fashion showcases.

Echo's Park Managing Director Nathan Chitenje expressed his excitement about hosting the festival. Chitenje noted that the event aligns with Echo's Park's goals of promoting tourism and preserving culture. The park's natural beauty and serene environment make it an ideal venue for the festival.

The inaugural festival will feature less than 40 artists, with a focus on showcasing local talent. As the event approaches, attendees can expect an unforgettable experience celebrating the best of Malawian arts and culture.
