Phwedo Takes on New Challenge in "Welcome to Maula Prison"

 

Malawian actor Phwedo, known for his impressive role in "School Days," is set to showcase his versatility in the upcoming movie "Welcome to Maula Prison."

Phwedo confidently claims he can take on any character given to him. In "Welcome to Maula Prison," he plays a role different from his previous one. "As an actor, I must diversify and take on different characters," he said.

Phwedo emphasized his commitment to versatility, saying some actors are restricted to one type of role, but he doesn't fall into that category. "A rolling stone gathers no moss," he added, highlighting his adaptability.

The movie, set for release in May, is highly entertaining and educational, conveying four stories. Phwedo couldn't reveal too much about the plot, wanting viewers to have a unique experience. The movie will premiere in Lilongwe, Blantyre, and Mzuzu.
