Queen Agnes Carries On Her Father's Musical Legacy with Debut Single 'Moyo Wanga

Queen Agnes, daughter of the late Bright 'Live Wire' Nkhata, has released her debut single "Moyo Wanga", a heartfelt tribute to her father's musical legacy. The song, a fusion of amapiano and afro-house, features producer Leumus of Set-Up Beats and is already gaining airplay on US radio stations.

Growing up watching her father perform, Queen Agnes believes she has inherited his musical gifts. As a DJ-turned-artist, she aims to reflect on the world's challenges while bringing back the excitement of the dance floor. "I desire to reflect on what the world is facing as well as bringing back the dance floor," she said.

Leumus, the producer of "Moyo Wanga", praised Queen Agnes' talent and dedication to the amapiano genre. "She is one of the people who believed in the amapiano movement that we are advancing... The goal is to create a wider network of amapiano music," he said.

With "Moyo Wanga", Queen Agnes is not only honoring her father's legacy but also embarking on her own musical journey. As she gains recognition in the industry, she is poised to inspire and entertain audiences with her unique sound.
