Soldier Lucius Banda Foundation Donates Pediatric Wheelchair to 12-Year-Old Girl

In a heartwarming display of kindness, the Soldier Lucius Banda Foundation has presented a specialized pediatric wheelchair to 12-year-old Tiyanjane Bakili from Balaka District. Tiyanjane was born healthy but developed convulsions three weeks after birth, leaving her paralyzed.

The wheelchair donation is part of the foundation's mission to continue the charitable legacy of the late legendary musician, Soldier Lucius Banda. His widow initiated the foundation to fulfill his dream of making a lasting difference in the lives of those in need.

Tiyanjane's mother, Esnart Dziunde, expressed her gratitude to the foundation, stating that the wheelchair will greatly improve her daughter's mobility. The wheelchair was made possible through a donation of medical supplies from Good Life Malawi

The Soldier Lucius Banda Foundation is committed to carrying on Lucius' charitable work. He was known for securing hospital supplies and contributing to the construction of structures at Balaka District Hospital. The foundation, spearheaded by Lucius' family and friends, aims to make a lasting impact in the lives of those in need.

The foundation's representative, Sunganani, emphasized their dedication to distributing medical supplies to those who need them most. As the foundation continues to fulfill Lucius' dream, they inspire hope and kindness in their community.
