Tay Grin's Lilongwe Home Ravaged by Fire, Over MK50 Million in Damages

 

A devastating fire swept through the Lilongwe Area 43 home of renowned artist Tay Grin, also known as the Nyau King, causing damage to materials valued at over MK50 million.

Tay Grin confirmed the incident in a statement, revealing that the blaze destroyed a significant portion of his property, including:Custom-made costumes used for performances,Passport and other essential documents,various valuable items.

The cause of the fire remains unknown, with Tay Grin stating that he is still unsure what sparked the blaze.

The incident has sent shockwaves through Malawi's entertainment industry, with fans and fellow artists expressing their support and sympathy for the Nyau King.
